Open Positions

Business Development Manager – Ohio

Salary Range: 60,000 - 80,000 / year

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively reach out to potential customers through cold calls, emails, and follow-ups to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Identify and qualify prospects such as electrical contractors, industrial customers, and utilities.
  • Visit existing customers regularly to maintain strong relationships and identify new product or service needs.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, operations, and inside sales teams to provide accurate quotes, proposals, and solutions.
  • Promote our full line of distribution electrical products.
  • Track all sales activities and opportunities through CRM tools, maintaining detailed and accurate records.
  • Provide feedback from the field to help shape sales strategies, marketing initiatives, and inventory planning.
  • Attend trade shows, customer events, and training sessions to stay informed on industry trends and new technologies.
  • Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets and achieve performance goals.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the electrical distribution or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of electrical products, components, and systems preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to balance inside sales tasks with regular customer visits.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and basic MS Office applications.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally to visit customers.

It is ideal for a sales professional who enjoys connecting with customers both over the phone and in person, and who thrives on growing business in the electrical distribution sector.
