General Description: Assemble simple electrical control panels in an efficient manner consistent with the standards of Simcona. Assemblers must have the ability to understand and follow simple assembly instructions and display genuine interest in satisfying our customers. Must be able to mount components and wire assembled components from simple schematics and/or wire lists.

Department: Production Department

Reports To: Production Manager

Pay Range: $18 - $24 / hr

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform basic mechanical assembly without drilling or modification
  • Install DIN rail, wire duct, and wire way covers
  • Mount components only when holes are pre-drilled
• Use basic hand tools and torque tools under supervision
• Install pre-processed wire kits produced by the automated wire processing department
• Read and correctly interpret printed wire identification text on both ends of each wire
• Route and terminate wires without altering wire length or terminals
• Follow defined routing paths and physical layout
• Maintain cleanliness, labeling awareness, and safety expectations
• Recognize when work does not match instruction and escalate immediately
• 6 months experience in electrical assembly or related electrical field.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally
• Ability to stand for 8 hours a day
• Ability to learn and follow quality procedures, including ISO9001:2015 requirements.
