Manufacturing Operations Coordinator
Job Summary:
As a Manufacturing Operations Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in helping ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing various aspects of the manufacturing operations to drive productivity and quality.
You will learn all aspects of a Manufacturing Services business working with cross functional teams including sales, purchasing, planning, engineering, quality, materials management, customer service, and production.
This is a highly visible position with great opportunity to build your skills. Simcona will provide training and continuous learning opportunities.
Pay Range: $24.04 - $26.45 per hour
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Scheduling, including releasing jobs to engineering and the production floor
- Help with quotes, processing orders, and invoices
- Help receiving and materials handling on the production floor
- Help expedite orders and materials, work on the “hotlist” of raw materials
- Help collect data, organize, and distribute reports to various stakeholders.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to management and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in operations management, business, accounting, or a related field. Will also consider prior experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with software applications and computers.
