Marc Iacona, CEO, Simcona Electronics; Executive Director, Producer, and CoOwner, CGI Rochester International Jazz Festival was recognized by the Rochester Business Journal on the RBJ Power 100 List 2021.
Marc for the past 10 years has led Simcona through unprecedented and challenging times. The company has become a premier provider of sourcing and procurement services for manufacturing companies across the United States.
Over the past 15 months, the Covid-19 crisis has disrupted supply chains and the availability of production materials for many manufacturing companies. Simcona continues to help these customers through such obstacles by locating and supplying electrical and mechanical components, wire and cable, and industrial control assemblies.
Marc is also the Producer and Executive Director of the Rochester International Jazz Festival. Internationally acclaimed as one of the leading jazz festivals, RIJF presents more than 1750 artists from around the world in 320+ shows at 20 venues. The festival has grown from a small, local event to one that entertains over 250,000 patrons each year.
